Two names for the directory: inside.in, registered since 2005 and offered at USD 2,500, or hppn.in, which dropped recently and is free to register today. Nine criteria below, each with the facts and the name it favours. A third name is also possible; the matrix only says what these two cost and carry.

If the directory is meant to list or sell tickets, it will sit one letter from Paytm Insider on inside.in, and that is the single heaviest line in the table. If the site will be passed on by word of mouth, on radio or over a counter, hppn.in will be misspelt more often than not. If the money is better spent on data than on a name, hppn.in costs nothing today and the demo runs on a neutral host either way.
